Coventry City are back on Sunday service this week, their game against Shrewsbury at Sixfields being the fourth scheduled fixture for the stadium in just over a week.
In the meantime a full League One programme takes place on Saturday and with the calendar ticking over into March it means the run-in to the end of the season is well and truly on. For some clubs that will take longer than others as poor weather and a host of recent postponements mean many teams have games in hand (Crawley have up to six).
The race for automatic promotion is developing into a three-way fight as Leyton Orient continue to defy the doubters by staying the course. They host Colchester United on Saturday, Wolves, still without Leon Clarke who has been unable to make an impact at his new club due to ongoing injury problems, are at home to Port Vale and Brentford travel to Carlisle United.
At the bottom, Stevenage gained a crucial midweek win over Crewe Alexandra to remain in touch with the teams above them, including the Railwaymen themselves who are dealing with an injury crisis that has led manager Steve Davis into the transfer market this week to sign winger Cameron Park from Middlesbrough.
Everyone up to and including Sheffield United in 12th place still need to put some points on the board to avoid a nervous last few games although the Blades will be feeling good after a superb month which has seen them reach the FA Cup quarter-finals and register four straight league victories.
