Coventry City striker Callum Wilson is set to make a welcome return to action on Sunday when the Sky Blues host Shrewsbury Town at Sixfields looking to end a run of League One defeats which has seen them drop to within five points of the relegation zone.

City still have games in hand on many of the teams around them and will be buoyed by the return from injury of 15-goal Wilson after he sustained a shoulder injury against Rotherham United on New Year’s Day.

Since then, of course, his strike partner Leon Clarke has departed the club and a revolving door of frontmen have tried to fill the gap left by City’s deadly duo.
