With the Main Stand at Sixfields being very much the focal point of Coventry City’s matchdays at the stadium, it is easy to see who in the world of football is watching the Sky Blues.

Having played every ‘home’ game to date on a Sunday has meant the ground has become something of an informal meeting place for League One managers while scouts from other clubs have also been prominent with their teamsheets and notebooks.

Stevenage boss Graham Westley watched his side’s next opponents and will not have seen too much to worry him from City’s performance while Cyrus Christie, reportedly watched by Tottenham Hotspur’s David Pleat, was unable to perform many of his trademark runs forward and was also at fault for Brentford’s first goal.

He and his teammates will come again, however, although manager Steven Pressley will be hoping that his skipper Carl Baker returns in time for next weekend’s game.
