Mark Cooper saw his Peterborough United side play their part to the full in an exciting clash at the Ricoh Arena but was left to rue Freddy Eastwood’s hat-trick of goals, all of which came from Coventry City set-pieces.
‘It is people not doing their jobs – individual errors,’ he said afterwards.
‘Everybody has a man to mark and if you’re marking that man and he scores a hat-trick then it is your fault I’m afraid.’
Posh certainly did not look like a team at the wrong end of the table and Copper added: ‘We are seven points adrift but we’re not giving up.
‘We will keep going. We’re far from the worst team in the league.’
