Chris Coleman is one of the few Championship managers yet to welcome a new face to his squad this summer but the Coventry City boss remains positive that deals will be completed shortly for one or two players, with Sammy Clingan of Norwich City remaining a top target.

‘It is still bubbling,’ Coleman told the Coventry Telegraph of the Clingan deal, halted by agent’s demands last week.

‘I think one or two people have come to their senses, which I am glad about, but we have got other targets as well.
