Nottingham Forest have been credited with a strong interest in Coventry City left-back Danny Fox but that may now have ended with the City Ground club sealing a £200,000 deal for Brighton’s Joel Lynch, who spent time on loan with the Reds last season.

Forest have now signed seven new players this summer as they put together a squad capable of returning the club to the top-flight.

The Sky Blues meanwhile are inching towards a deal for former Forest midfielder Sammy Clingan.

  • Don’t think Forest are done with the signings yet, but the Fox may have run it’s course!
