As he prepares to integrate a number of young players into his squad for next season, Coventry City manager Steven Pressley wants Conor Thomas to impose himself as a senior figure in the Sky Blues side.
Despite his age, the midfielder already has plenty of first team experience with City in addition to the time he spent on loan with Liverpool as they weighed up a permanent move for him.
Two years on from that and Pressley is keen for Thomas to start fulfilling the predictions that many have made for him.
‘I want to see him dominate games because I believe he can,’ the manager told the Coventry Telegraph.
‘He’s a terrific athlete with great football ability and I want him to play a big part this season.’
