Is watching Coventry City good value for money?

The BBC have released the findings of their ‘Price of Football’ survey for 2012 in which they look at the cost of tickets, programmes, a cup of tea and a pie in a bid to find the best value day out for football fans.

The League One section of the story on the BBC website contains the following piece about the Sky Blues: ‘Coventry, relegated from the Championship last season, have recognised the need to lower their prices to encourage fans to continue coming through the turnstiles, despite playing in a lower division.

‘Last year, the Sky Blues’ cheapest and most expensive tickets were £22 and £29 respectively, but they have reduced both prices by £4, now charging £18 pounds for the cheapest ticket and £25 for the most expensive.’

Full details of the survey are on the BBC Sport website and can be found by clicking here.
