Micky Adams will start his planing for next season in the remaining five games of the current campaign with Coventry City knowing that they will be in the Championship again next season.

Matt Heath and youngsters Kevin Thornton and Stuart Giddings may all feature against Wolves on Saturday, with Adams particularly keen to give 24-year-old Heath a run of games.

The Sky Blues boss said: ‘Some of the players we have picked recently are not going to be here next season so we have to look at that as well and look to the future, so that’s what we will try to do between now and the end of the season.’

‘Matt is another one who lost his position through suspension, first of all, and then injury, and maybe we need to throw him in the first team again and have a look at him to see what he can do.

‘Matty Heath was part of the squad that got promoted from the Championship to the Premier League at Leicester, so I have got no doubts at all.
