Roy Keane has bided his time in the transfer market over the summer and just days before his side kick off the season at Coventry City, the Ipswich boss has landed a new £1.7m striker.

Hungarian star Tamas Priskin will make an immediate debut at the Ricoh Arena after completing his move from Watford.

“This is a big step for me and I think I will enjoy my time here,’ he has been quoted as saying.

“Last season I scored 14 goals in 32 games and I want to score even more this season.

“I think I’m good in front of goal and can take chances.”
