Two separate commercial news items have been announced on the official Coventry City website on Tuesday.

A new five-year deal has been agreed with PUMA, who will continue to supply the team kit until 2015.

Next season’s new shirts will have a different sponsor however.

Having backed the club superbly throughout the most difficult period in its history, Cassidy Group are stepping aside to allow for a national sponsor to take over.

Meanwhile Marcus Hall hopes to stick around the Ricoh Arena for another season after making his first-team comeback at the weekend.

His contract is once again set to expire but the veteran full-back told the Telegraph: ‘Hopefully my performance is a little reminder to the manager that I can still do a job for the club.’

Hall’s sometime defensive partner in a Sky Blue shirt, Elliott Ward, is hoping to be fit for Doncaster Rovers’ game against Preston North End on Tuesday night.

The on-loan City man missed Saturday’s win at Bristol City with what has been described as a ‘twisted testicle’!
