Some 2012/13 statistics taken from the official Football League website.

With five different people in charge of the Sky Blues throughout the campaign Coventry City used 38 players during the campaign, the 4th highest in League One after Bury, Colchester and (not surprisingly given their financial woes) Portsmouth.

Despite the Ricoh Arena being around a third full for much of the season City’s attendances still placed them third in League One behind Pompey and Sheffield United with an average of 10,948.

The Sky Blues kept only 9 clean sheets throughout the campaign with only Bury, Carlisle and Scunthorpe keeping fewer.

City’s tally of 11 away wins was, with Sheffield United and Bournemouth, the joint-second best in the division behind champions Doncaster who notched up 15 victories on the road. Nobody, however, scored more goals on their travels than the Sky Blues.
