Striker James Collins will hold further talks with Shrewsbury this summer over a new deal with the League One newcomers.
Coventry City, still under a transfer embargo at present, are thought to be keen on the Coventry-born, Ireland Under-21 international whose present contract with the Shropshire side expires shortly.
Town manager Graham Turner is waiting for Collins to return from international duty before resuming negotiations.
Collins made a late substitute’s appearance for the Irish as they drew 2-2 with Italy in a European Championship qualifier earlier this week.
