Coventry City manager Steven Pressley was left scratching his head at the scale of his side’s Easter Monday defeat at Walsall as the impact of the 10-point penalty imposed on the Sky Blues hits home following the holiday period.
Pressley’s men now have four games left to try and turn what was supposed to be a play-off chase into a top-half finish.
‘I’m really disappointed with the result as I`m sure the fans will be,’ he told the Coventry Telegraph.
‘We had brilliant support again which just shows the potential of this football club. That’s why I came here and that`s why I’m still very excited about what we can achieve.’
Two games in four days having provided a distraction from off-field issues, it’s back to the legal wrangling and arguments for City and their supporters this week.
