Alex McLeish was measured in his post-match comments after his Birmingham City were denied what looked to be an equaliser in Monday night’s game against the Sky Blues.
Speaking after a Frank Quedrue glance looked to have crossed the line, McLeish said: ‘If they (the officials) haven’t seen it, they can’t make it up.
‘That would be a terrible decision.
‘Even the television guys said it was inconclusive.
‘These things happen in football. We have to take it on the chin and move on.’
A grown-up response from Mr McLeish and one that many of his Championship counterparts could learn from.
