Over 4,000 Coventry City supporters will be present at Meadow Lane this coming Saturday for the League Two fixture against Notts County.

Momentum among fans for the trip began building some weeks ago and it looked for a long while as though the match would go some way to determining automatic promotion hopes for either the Magpies or the Sky Blues.

But Easter Monday’s results, a narrow defeat for Notts at league leaders Accrington Stanley and City’s one-off (hopefully) horror show at home to Yeovil, coupled with Wycombe’s comeback win against Grimsby, mean the game now looks like more of a chance to cement a place in the play-off places.

Kevin Nolan’s County are 7 points off the automatic places with 5 matches remaining while City are 2 points further back, albeit with a fixture in hand.
