Coventry City enter the final dozen games of the Championship season knowing that they need to take at least a four-point haul from home games against Crystal Palace and Birmingham City this week in order to keep alive their survival hopes.

Those hopes have been kept alive by on-loan striker Alex Nimely’s displays since coming to the club from Manchester City but he is the main injury doubt for the Palace clash.

Boss Andy Thorn, who returns to action himself after illness, will put his faith in summer deadline signing Cody McDonald should Nimely not make it.
