Dowie: we dominated

Coventry City manager Iain Dowie remained upbeat after his side’s 3-0 reverse at home to Bristol City on Saturday.

‘There were loads of positives in the game,’ he said.

‘You can dominate games and lose. It was a very disappointing result.

‘Apart from the last 20 minutes I can’t complain apart from the final ball.

‘I think their goal was their only shot on target in the first half and I thought we started great. Soft goals are killing us at the moment.’
