If the takeover of Coventry City goes ahead and manager Iain Dowie is allowed to enter the transfer market again, Wigan Athletic defender Fitz Hall will be his first signing according to the Mirror on Friday.
Dowie knows the centre-half well after managing him at Oldham and Crystal Palace.
