Tuesday night’s big League One game at the Ricoh Arena sees Coventry City take on Crawley Town.

The hosts go into the match having kept clean sheets in their victories over Leyton Orient and Arlesey in the FA Cup but still stationed in the bottom four of the league and knowing they would have their work cut out against a Red Devils’ side aiming to earn a second successive promotion.

Mark Robins spoke after the Arlesey game of a nervousness among his players when running out at the Ricoh and having singled out Cyrus Christie for praise on Saturday, after his forward surges brought the Sky Blues attack to life, the manager was looking for a similarly inspiring display on the other flank from left-back Jamie Reckord.

With the loan players who were denied permission to play in the cup tie available once again it gives Robins plenty of selection options to mull over as he continues his efforts to get City playing on the front foot at home and gradually moving to safer waters in the League One table.

Vital Coventry will have news and reaction from the game on Tuesday night.
