Saturday’s big home game for Coventry City against Wolves gives Chris Coleman to pick a side containing a majority of players signed by himself, as he continues the evolution of the Sky Blues squad.

Guillaume Beuzelin, Kieren Westwood, Aron Gunnarsson, Freddy Eastwood, Clinton Morrison, Stephen Wright, David Bell and now James McPake could all play against the league leaders, together with loan signing Jordan Henderson and Scott Dann and Dan Fox, not signed by Coleman but the first captures of the Ranson/SISU era and definitely the kind of players Coleman is looking to bring in.

With the departure of Mifsud and Gray on deadline day and the earlier clear-out of Kyle, Birchall and Borrowdale, the new Sky Blues’ side will hopefully have time to bed in before a push for the play-offs next season.
