Coventry City chairman Geoffrey Robinson has reportedly rejected an approach from his West Bromwich Albion counterpart Jeremy Peace to speak to Micky Adams about the Hawthorns managerial vacancy.

Peace is keen to talk to a number of different candidates as he looks to appoint a successor to Bryan Robson.

Sky Blues managing director Paul Fletcher said in a statement: “Micky Adams is an important part of this club and an integral part of our plans.”
