Former Coventry City prospect Daniel Sturridge is again being linked with a move away from Manchester City this summer, in a deal that could benefit the Sky Blues of Coventry.
Chelsea are reportedly keen to sign the striker, 19, who has so far refused a new contract at Eastlands.
Man City would be entitled to compensation for losing the highly-rated forward, but according to Sunday’s People newspaper would have to hand over a slice of that to Coventry, whom Sturridge left in 2003.
