Contract Confusion Continues

Arena Coventry Limited (ACL) continue to press for the administration process of CCFC Ltd to be run again as there continues to be confusion over the registration of player contracts.

The latest twist comes with documents published in the Coventry Telegraph showing that players have been registered with CCFC Ltd and not Coventry City Football Club Holdings.

Tim Fisher, faced with the documents, told the paper that: ‘Previously, the administration of the club and the business was less than efficient to say the least.

‘Indeed, I would go so far as to say – and I’ve said it before – that historically the administrative side of the business was a complete mess. We found documentation to be contradictory in some instances, and often error strewn in others.’

Your Nominations Please

Steven Pressley and in-form striker Callum Wilson have been nominated for the League One manager and player of the month respectively after excellent August’s for the duo.

Five Alive

Pressley has the space to sign up to five new players after the deadline negotiations that saw the remaining members of his ‘bomb squad’ leave the club.

Gary McSheffrey, Kevin Malaga and Stephen Jennings all agreed deals to have their contracts terminated.

U’s In Trouble

Sunday’s opponents Colchester United are ‘very thin on the ground’ according to manager Joe Dunne after a bad night at Dagenham saw them dumped out of the JPT while adding further injury problems to a lengthy list.
