Decision time is looming.

For Coventry City on where they will be playing their football next season, for the Football League on confirming that the ‘Golden Share’ will pass to preferred bidders Otium Entertainment and for Sky Blues’ supporters stuck between the rock of continuing to watch their team and the hard place of boycotting CCFC ‘home’ fixtures.

Chief executive Tim Fisher continues to sound optimistic that a new stadium is a viable option with ‘preferred buyer’ status being granted on a potential site within the next few weeks.

He has also been talking further about a potential venue for next season’s fixtures, telling the Coventry Telegraph: ‘Any possible stadium for a ground-share has got to accommodate do-able travel time for fans, a minimum standard in terms of facilities and a minimum capacity of around 10,000 or more.’

For the Football League, these plans will form part of their decision and then will come the time that most CCFC fans have been hoping would not come.
