Burnley host Coventry City on Tuesday night in buoyant mood after a 1-0 win over leaders Wolves and looking to complete the double over the Sky Blues.
Christian Kalvenes is likely to miss the game with a groin injury but Stephen Jordan is back to full fitness.
Manager Owen Coyle said: ‘Stephen Jordan started training on Friday again with the group and he will train with us again.
‘If Christian doesn’t make it there are one or two options we can go with, but having got that clean sheet on Saturday against Wolves you certainly don’t want to disrupt things.’
City meanwhile have a host of injury and sickness doubts after the bout of food poisoning that swept the camp ahead of the cup tie with Blackburn.
