Two teams buoyed by midweek results will contest Saturday’s local derby at the Ricoh Arena.

Leicester City, 1-0 winners at Middlesbrough on Tuesday night, will be backed by around 5,000 visiting fans for the game, which should ensure the biggest gate of the season in CV6.

Stay-away Sky Blues fans may be tempted at last to venture down to the Ricoh after some good results at home in addition to the 3-2 win at Watford which pushed City back into the top-half of the Championship.

‘I was very pleased with the win because we have played better than that and not won on the road, so it was nice to get the first away victory,’ said Foxes boss Nigel Pearson after adding to the disquiet at his former club with a win at the Riverside Stadium.

‘It was a battling performance from us.’
