Barnsley boss bemoans ‘definite’ penalty

Simon Davey felt that Barnsley were denied a ‘definite penalty’ during the first-half of their game against Coventry City on Saturday.

‘I saw that one on the video at half-time and there was no nudge by Darren Moore,’ he told the official club website.

Davey felt the Tykes had the better of the first 45 minutes, with City’s goal coming against the run of play although the Sky Blues could point to Elliott Ward’s header hitting the inside of the post just after they had opened the scoring.
