A first home defeat of the season for Coventry City pushed them down into the bottom half of the Championship table on Saturday, as Plymouth came away with all three points from the Ricoh Arena.

‘We looked nervous from the start and never seemed to get to grips with the game,’ said Sky Blues boss Micky Adams.

‘Sometimes it is easy to say we were poor but that was probably as good as an away performance I have seen.

‘Our away form needs improving and we have to learn from Plymouth who were resolute and had a real team effort.’
