Coventry City manager Micky Adams was pleased to see Dele Adebola on the scoresheet against Queens Park Rangers at the weekend, just days after blocking a move to Leeds United for the big striker.
‘Dele Adebola has been frustrated by the relative lack of first-team opportunities he has had this season,’ said the boss.
‘But he led the line well today, and scored a good goal.
‘His form at the beginning of last season was outstanding, and, if he rediscovers that, it will be very hard for me to leave him out.’
