Wolves The Early League One Favourites

After tumbling two divisions in as many seasons, Wolves are fancied to make a quick return to the Championship in 2013/14.

The early odds for the League One campaign see the Molineux men priced as low as 4/1.

While their current squad would clearly be seen as a cut above League One level, many people thought the same about Wolves at the same time last year. A number of managers are currently being linked with the job recently vacated by Dean Saunders (including Steve Davis of Crewe) and a host of players are thought to be targets for other clubs despite their poor season.

Coventry City are seen as 16/1 shots by the bookies, not surprisingly given the current uncertainty surrounding the club.

Bristol City and Peterborough, who both came down with Wolves, are seen as candidates for a quick return while Rotherham are the most fancied of the promoted sides, perhaps as the Millers are seen to have money to spend and an ambitious chairman and manager.
