As the newly-installed head coach of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Kenny Jackett is aware that his side are the clear favourites to win League One this season after two successive relegations.

With a budget that will dwarf that available to the likes of the Sky Blues, the Molineux men are expected to breeze through the campaign.

Jackett, however, knows that every other club in the division will want to take their scalp, telling the official Wolves website: ‘You will see a big ‘up’ in the opposition’s performances.’

Former Millwall boss Jackett did not mention City in his teams to watch but feels Preston and Sheffield United are among those well-placed to challenge.

He also highlighted the threat of the teams promoted from League Two with the likes of Rotherham and Gillingham aiming high once again.
