Having worked his way back into the professional ranks with a productive spell in non-league football, midfielder Carl Baker landed a second shot at the (semi) big-time with his move to Coventry City in January, allowing room for plenty of ‘Baker completes move’ headlines in the process!

The 27-year-old star of a Stockport County side weighed down with financial problems at the foot of League One, Baker had already managed 13 goals before his switch to the Ricoh Arena.

He has already impressed his new team-mates and fans alike with his displays in training and for the first-team and looks at ease with the transition to Championship football.
