Will it be Celtic for City veteran?

Marcus Hall is busying himself with preparations for a testimonial match after being granted the long service award by Coventry City earlier this week.

He told the Coventry Telegraph: “It`s very early days and we haven`t even thought about that yet.

“I only got my letter of acceptance from the club yesterday and I would like to thank the chairman Ray Ranson and SISU.

‘Now the committee will get their heads together and try to sort a few things out but obviously it will be at the Ricoh Arena and probably towards the end of the season in April/ May time.

“It would be nice to get a few of the old lads together who I have played with over the years and hopefully we can put on a good game for the fans.”

Given the number of fans they always bring to such games and the obvious link with Gordon Strachan (who played alongside and managed Hall at City and also signed him for Southampton), asking Celtic to do the honours looks a likely option.
