The Coventry Telegraph is reporting potentially good news on the proposed takeover of Coventry City Football Club.
An official announcement will be made on Thursday afternoon but Chairman Joe Elliott and finance manager Mal Brannigan were said to be all smiles at the training ground this morning ahead of a meeting with staff.
Update – The club have issued a statement on Thursday afternoon stating that talks have been ‘extremely positive’ with further news expected within 48 hours.
