Vital Coventry reader ‘ccfcks’ contacted us with his views on a certain referee’s performance at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday.

He said: ‘On Saturday Coventry City won 4-1, the only person in the ground who didn’t think that was Graham (I’m in the limelight) Poll.

‘The fact is 2 points, which was the difference here could be the difference between staying up or making the play-off, today it means we are 16th not 14th.

‘The FA will not act on comments on referees even though there is a option on their web site to do so, but I think it is time as football fans we changed this.

‘Just a few things that I saw which he got up to and I have tried but cannot work out.

‘Booking McKenzie for going for a 50/50 ball with the keeper, he had to go for the ball.

‘Booked Tabb for a pull on the keeper, but only talked to the keeper for swinging an arm at Tabb.

‘Give a non-penalty I still don’t know what it was for.

‘Gave us a couple of free kicks in the first half for Cardiff players diving but did not book them.

‘Two goals disallowed I don’t know why.

‘The thing is being a Coventry fan you can take losing or drawing but when a team play like we did and it is taken away by a nutter in the middle it felt more like a loss.’
