Former Manchester United and England striker Andy Cole is set to play against Coventry City a week on Sunday after asking for a loan move away from Portsmouth.
His former Old Trafford teammate Steve Bruce has moved to take Cole to Birmingham City after seeing his side’s goals dry up in recent weeks.
Ex-Sky Blues star Gary McSheffrey will be suspended for the game.
