As Coventry City wave goodbye to League One on Sunday after their match away to Scunthorpe United, a trio of teams will be battling to avoid joining them in League Two next season.

Chesterfield, Swindon Town and the Sky Blues are already down but Port Vale, Gillingham and Bury all face a nervous afternoon.

Vale gave themselves a lifeline with a midweek win at Walsall but must get a positive result away from home against a Fleetwood side who are still in with a chance of being promoted automatically.

A win for the Potteries men will turn up the tension at both Northampton, where Gillingham travel and Southend where Bury are the visitors and where the home side have play-off hopes themselves.

Shrewsbury are not mathematically safe but only a miracle set of results and scorelines would see them drop into the bottom four.
