Coventry City were handed a tricky FA Cup 4th Round tie away to Torquay in Sunday’s draw and the Blue Square Premier side are quietly confident of adding the Sky Blues’ scalp to that of Blackpool, who they defeated at the weekend.

‘If you can’t get a Premiership club, you need to be at home with a realistic chance of winning, which we have,’ manager Paul Buckle told the Herald Express.

‘We have beaten one good Championship side, and we’ll take great confidence and strength from that.

‘It’s a very good draw.’

City will look to repeat the professional display they turned in against Kidderminster on Saturday, against a Harriers side that won away to Torquay between Christmas and New Year.

‘We’re in the hat (for the fourth round draw) and that’s the main thing,’ was Chris Coleman’s verdict on the game.

‘They made it very hard for us to break them down.

‘I was hoping it wasn’t going to be one of those days where we were a bit lacklustre and our finishing would let us down.

‘But as soon as we got the goal it drew them out a bit but at 1-0 they’ve always got a chance so I was pleased to get the second.

‘The league is our bread and butter and it was important that we made sure we did not make the headlines for the wrong reasons in this game.’
