The Sky Blue Revolution Continues

|

Another week of relentlessly good news for Coventry City supporters has seen the Sky Blues continue to build on their dramatic Wembley win by adding more new faces to their squad.

Jonson Clarke-Harris completed a permanent move to the Ricoh Arena from Rotherham United after making a valuable contribution to the promotion campaign while on loan and City have once again shown that their scouting and recruitment network has been transformed with the capture of midfielder Bouwe Bosma from Non-League side Lewes.

Mark Robins squad is already looking strong enough to more than hold their own at League One level with the manager likely to add more signings as the summer goes on, especially if the much talked-about James Maddison dividend finally comes through.

Healthy season ticket sales, new match packages for 2018/19 going on sale well in advance of the campaign and a new kit launch all add up to a feelgood factor that City supporters have not experienced for many, many years.

The first competitive fixture of the new season has been announced in the shape of a League Cup trip to face Oxford United while this coming Friday will see the announcement of the League One schedule with most fans probably keeping an eye out for the opening day, the Christmas fixtures and when the Sky Blues will be away to Blackpool!
