Iain Dowie wants two successive home wins to keep Coventry City’s season alive going into February and beyond.
Although the play-offs look a tall order at present, City remain in the FA Cup and have a winnable home tie against Millwall in Round 4.
Ahead of the league clash with Burnley, Dowie said: ‘Saturday is now a great opportunity to put a marker down and if we win that and then win an FA Cup tie we could be in the fifth round and midway in the league.
‘All of a sudden it looks a different picture and that’s exactly what we have got to strive for.’
