The BBC have announced the results of a major survey into the cost of attending lve football matches across the 92 Premier League and Football League clubs in the forthcoming season.

Looking at the cheapest matchday ticket available plus a few essentials such as a programme, pie and cup of tea places Coventry City around halfway in the Championship for value for money on a single game basis with the cheapest day out to the Ricoh Arena costing £29.60.

The Sky Blues would however point out that they made 17,000 season tickets available for £286 or less for a large part of the summer, potentially reducing the cost per match quite significantly.
