Leamington took the spoils from Saturday`s Warwickshire derby in the National League North, beating Nuneaton by a single goal to move seven points clear of the relegation zone.

Nuneaton subsequently saw manager Dino Maamria, only in charge since earlier in the season but responsible for an upturn in fortunes, leave for former club Stevenage in League Two.

York City are the visitors to Liberty Way this Saturday while Leamington travel to Stockport County on the back of a Thursday night trip to the North-East for their re-arranged game at Spennymoor.

The Brakes were delayed on their journey, the match not kicking off until 8.30pm meaning a return home in the very early hours of Friday morning.

Bedworth United remain in the promotion hunt following a weekend win and travel to Market Drayton on Saturday while Stratford Town visit Farnborough in the Evo-Stik South Premier.

In the Midland League Premier there are home matches for Rugby Town and Coventry United and a local derby in Division One as Coventry Copsewood visit Atherstone Town.
