Nuneaton Town scored a late equaliser at home to Chorley on Saturday to keep up their recent unbeaten run and then gained an away victory at Telford in midweek.

Leamington gained a vital victory in National League North by a single goal at home to Blyth Spartans to give the Brakes a real boost in their battle against relegation.

They face (weather permitting) a long trip to Spennymoor this coming weekend.

Bedworth United came from two goals down to defeat Frickley Athletic and keep up their promotion hopes in the Evo-Stik League South and Stratford Town came back from Gosport with a 1-0 win in the Southern Premier League.

Coventry United were the only winner out of themselves, Coventry Sphinx and Rugby Town in the Midland League Premier Division.

The weather is likely to play havoc with this weekend’s fixtures.
