Nuneaton Town made the long journey to Spennymoor on Saturday afternoon and the return trip will have been made easier by a 1-0 success that pushed them five points clear of the relegation zone in National League North before their rescheduled game at FC United of Manchester on Tuesday evening.

There was similar success on the road for Leamington, a single goal victory at Boston United keeping the Brakes clear of the bottom three.
Bedworth United are second in the Northern Premier League South after a 1-1 draw at Belper while Stratford Town were 2-0 home winners against Dorchester Town in the Southern League Premier and are nestling safely in mid-table.

In the Midland Football League Premier there were defeats for Coventry United and Rugby Town while Racing Club Warwick were 2-1 winners at Coventry Copsewood in Division One.

If you’re not heading to Mansfield to support the Sky Blues this coming Saturday then there are fixtures at Leamington, Nuneaton, Bedworth and Coventry Sphinx.
