The weather was the big winner across the local area this weekend as Nuneaton Town, Stratford Town, Rugby Town, Coventry Sphinx and Coventry United all saw their fixtures postponed.

Leamington were in National League North action but missed out on the chance to go ahead of Nuneaton in the table as they lost 4-1 at Alfreton, a result that leaves the Brakes just a point above the drop zone.

Bedworth United were also in action but their trip to the seaside was fruitless as they went down 3-1 to Cleethorpes Town and dropped below their hosts to 4th in the Evo-Stik South league.

Looking ahead to this week, Leamington are due to host Gainsborough Trinity on Tuesday evening and Darlington on Saturday afternoon when Nuneaton host Bradford Park Avenue.

Bedworth and Coventry Sphinx also have home matches for those Sky Blues supporters not making the march to MK.
