With Coventry City in action on Friday evening at the Ricoh Arena and not back in CV6 until New Year’s Day there are a host of other local matches to catch this festive season.

Starting this Saturday when Coventry Sphinx have reduced adult admission prices to £5 for the visit of Lye Town.

Under-16’s go free to Sphinx Drive where 30 December sees the big local clash between Sphinx and Coventry United who are at home themselves both this Saturday and on Boxing Day.

There should be scope to catch two matches on Boxing Day with Nuneaton Town kicking off at 12pm against Tamworth.

Leamington host Brackley Town on the same day (kick-off 3pm) while Rugby Town are in home action on Saturday 30th against Highgate United.

There is a double-header of home action for Bedworth United, Alvechurch visiting on Boxing Day at 1pm and Peterborough Sports the opposition on Saturday 30th.

And Stratford Town entertain Banbury United on New Year’s Day.
