‘Judge us after ten games` is the mantra from many managers and despite the disappointing 1-0 defeat by Plymouth Argyle at the weekend, Coventry City are doing better than at this time last year.
They have 13 points from 10 games, 10 from 5 home games, 3 from 5 away games, having scored 8 and conceded 8.
Last season we had 9 points from 10 games, 5 points from 4 home games and 4 from 6 away games, scoring 10 but conceding 14.
City are 5 points off an automatic promotion place and 3 away from the play-offs.
This in a division where unlike last season no club looks set to run away with things as Reading and Sheffield United did (although Cardiff fans may disagree).
