Following Tuesday night’s excellent 2-1 victory at Bristol City, Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has opted to keep an unchanged side for Saturday’s away game against Notts County.

The Sky Blues boss has more options at his disposal following recent transfer market moves and said prior to the game: ‘The squad been too small for the majority of the season so we`ve been relying on the same players, but now we`re getting to a stage where the balance is much better and we have more options.’

With the returning Adam Barton impressive at Ashton Gate, however, Pressley has kept faith with the midfielder and the same XI.

Update Backed a large and loud away support, City put in possibly their worst 45 minutes of the season to date, falling behind to a Mullins goal after 12 minutes as a fired-up County made all the running before Spencer scored a second on 33.

Barton’s renaissance lasted just one half as Pressley hauled him off along with Billy Daniels to be replaced by John Fleck and new signing Dylan McGeouch at half-time.
