Tottenham goalkeeper Marton Fulop, on loan at the Ricoh Arena last season and linked with a return to Coventry City for much of the current season, has joined Sunderland on loan until the New Year.

‘I am delighted the deal is done,’ Keane told the club’s official website.

‘Marton is someone we’ve been looking at for a while; he’s young, hungry, and just the type of player we’re looking for at this football club.’

  • you have just signed a classy keeper, if it wasn’t for Robbo he would be be a first team regular at the lane, good bit of business by Keano

  • we didnt send him to coventry. we are still on speaking terms and his gone to sunderland. i think you will find spurs are after one of their keepers so this might help get that deal done. good luck this season might see you in the cup. if you are still looking for a keeper the young kid down in brighton his good.
